MNCU-NGO Dialogue Session: Connecting NGOs for Greater Impact
Recently, on 13 August 2026, PSJKM participated in the MNCU-NGO Dialogue Session in Putrajaya. Furthermore, the session brought together Malaysian NGOs to share field experiences and strategic insights. Therefore, PSJKM valued the opportunity to contribute our community perspective and learn from fellow organisations.
Meanwhile, the MNCU-NGO Dialogue Session created an important platform for meaningful NGO exchange. Moreover, participants discussed community challenges, successful practices, recommendations and potential collaboration areas. Consequently, the discussions connected grassroots experiences with wider UNESCO policy considerations.
Meanwhile, PSJKM engaged with NGO leaders from different sectors and backgrounds during the session. In addition, we exchanged ideas around sustainability, community resilience, capacity building and social impact. As a result, these conversations highlighted the importance of stronger partnerships across Malaysia.
PSJKM’s Commitment to Community and Sustainability
Therefore, sustainability starts with practical action within communities at PSJKM. Furthermore, we use sewing, upcycling, natural dyeing and eco-printing to develop practical community skills. At the same time, these programmes help communities create useful products and explore sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Moreover, PSJKM works with corporates, government agencies, educational institutions, NGOs and community groups. Therefore, we continue building partnerships that connect environmental responsibility with meaningful social impact. Through these collaborations, we aim to create opportunities that benefit both communities and the environment.
From Dialogue to Future Collaboration
Following the MNCU-NGO Dialogue Session, PSJKM looks forward to developing stronger relationships with fellow NGOs. In addition, we believe collaboration can turn shared ideas into practical community programmes. Consequently, we welcome organisations that share our commitment to sustainability, empowerment and positive social change.
Meanwhile, our upcoming [Malaysia Circular Economy & Sustainability Week 2026] will provide another opportunity to connect. Furthermore, the event will bring sustainability, circular economy and community initiatives into one shared platform. Additionally, we welcome NGOs, businesses, agencies, educators and community partners to participate.
