PSJKM 19th Anniversary Open Day Celebrates 19 Years of Impact
The PSJKM 19th Anniversary Open Day brought together government agencies, corporates, NGOs and strategic partners. Together, they celebrated 19 years of community empowerment, sustainability initiatives and social impact.
Furthermore, the event highlighted how collaboration continues to create meaningful change. As a result, participants gained deeper insights into community development, environmental sustainability and social impact initiatives.
The event welcomed representatives from PERKESO, Carlsberg Malaysia, Citaglobal Berhad, Dorsett Grand Subang, IOI Corporation Berhad, EcoWorld, SME Corp Malaysia, BDO PLT, Premier Integrated Rehab, DSV Contract Logistics, Taman Tugu, FELCRA Berhad, KPKM, Jabatan Pertanian, Jabatan Pembangunan Wanita, Jabatan Pembangunan Masyarakat, Sunway IGSC, MyUmbrella and many other valued partners.
Official Opening by KPKM Secretary-General
The PSJKM 19th Anniversary Open Day received further recognition through the presence of Dato’ Sri Hisham. He serves as the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM). Moreover, he officially opened the event and encouraged greater collaboration between stakeholders.
During the programme, PSJKM shared its 19-year journey. In addition, the team showcased community products, textile upcycling projects, eco-print creations and natural dye innovations. Participants also explored sustainability initiatives developed together with various partners.
Strengthening Sustainability Participation Ecosystems
During the sharing session, PSJKM introduced its Sustainability Participation Ecosystem 2027 direction. Specifically, the presentation focused on three key areas: Environment, Empowerment and Engagement.
Rather than focusing on one-off activities, PSJKM aims to strengthen long-term participation ecosystems. Consequently, organisations can connect employees, communities, students and the public through meaningful sustainability experiences.
Meanwhile, participants contributed to the Unity Fabric initiative. This collaborative textile artwork gathers signatures and messages from partners who have supported PSJKM throughout the years. Subsequently, PSJKM will present the completed artwork to Tengku Ampuan Pahang during the Micro to Kecil Programme launch in September 2026.

Looking Ahead to Micro to Kecil 2026
Looking ahead, PSJKM will continue expanding its sustainability ecosystem through the upcoming Micro to Kecil Programme in September 2026.
The initiative aims to strengthen sustainable livelihood opportunities. At the same time, it supports community entrepreneurs and circular economy participation. Furthermore, the programme encourages stronger collaboration between corporates, agencies and communities.
As PSJKM moves towards its 20th anniversary, the organisation remains committed to creating meaningful environmental, social and community impact. Therefore, PSJKM welcomes more partners to join this growing sustainability ecosystem.
Furthermore, PSJKM welcomes corporates, agencies, NGOs and individuals to participate in future sustainability initiatives. Whether through environmental programmes, community empowerment projects or employee engagement activities, every collaboration contributes towards meaningful and measurable impact.
