Education & Future Skills Day Inspires the Next Generation
The world of work is changing rapidly. Therefore, students need more than academic knowledge to succeed in the future. They also need practical skills, creativity, sustainability awareness, and innovative thinking. For this reason, Education & Future Skills Day at the Malaysia Circular Economy & Sustainability Week 2026 brings together educators, students, industry leaders, and community organisations to explore the future of sustainable development.
Organised by Persatuan Seni Jahitan Kreatif Malaysia (PSJKM), this special day introduces students to real-world examples of the circular economy, environmental innovation, social entrepreneurship, and green careers. As a result, participants will discover how sustainability creates opportunities across many industries while preparing them for tomorrow’s workforce.
Learn Beyond the Classroom
Education becomes more meaningful when students experience learning first-hand. Therefore, visitors can explore interactive exhibitions, practical demonstrations, sustainability showcases, and innovative community projects throughout the event.
In addition, students will meet organisations, entrepreneurs, and changemakers who transform environmental challenges into business opportunities and community solutions. Consequently, they will understand how creativity, technology, and sustainability work together to shape future careers.
Connecting Education with Industry
Today’s employers increasingly seek graduates who understand sustainability, problem-solving, and innovation. Therefore, Education & Future Skills Day provides valuable exposure to industries that actively support Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices and the circular economy.
Meanwhile, lecturers, teachers, and education institutions can explore collaboration opportunities with PSJKM and industry partners. These partnerships can create experiential learning programmes, workshops, internships, research opportunities, and community projects that benefit students beyond the classroom.
