ReMadeSia Malaysia Makes Its First Public Appearance

ReMadeSia Malaysia proudly made its first public appearance at the Malaysia Gifts Fair 2026, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) from 30 June to 2 July 2026. This milestone marked the official introduction of the collaboration between Persatuan Seni Jahitan Kreatif Malaysia (PSJKM) and MyUmbrella. Together, both organisations showcased how discarded materials can become meaningful products through creativity, innovation, and community empowerment. Furthermore, ReMadeSia Malaysia demonstrated that sustainability can inspire businesses while creating measurable environmental and social impact.

Inspiring Businesses Through Circular Innovation

Throughout the three-day exhibition, corporate visitors, gift companies, event organisers, and sustainability advocates visited the ReMadeSia showcase. Many guests admired the creativity behind the products and appreciated the story behind every item. Moreover, visitors recognised that upcycling offers practical business solutions instead of simply reducing waste. Consequently, many organisations expressed interest in future collaborations, sustainable corporate gifts, and ESG initiatives that generate lasting value.

More Than Upcycling

ReMadeSia Malaysia represents more than an upcycling initiative. Instead, it connects businesses, communities, designers, and artisans through one shared purpose. Every recovered material creates opportunities for skilled artisans, reduces unnecessary waste, and supports Malaysia’s circular economy. In addition, every product tells a meaningful story that businesses can proudly share with employees, clients, and stakeholders. Therefore, ReMadeSia Malaysia creates value beyond the finished product by combining environmental responsibility with community empowerment.

A Creative Experience for Every Visitor

One of the exhibition’s most popular attractions was the oversized ReMadeSia Square Bag Photo Booth. Many visitors stepped inside the giant bag to capture memorable photographs and share them on social media. As a result, the interactive display attracted continuous attention throughout the exhibition. More importantly, the photo booth encouraged conversations about sustainability while introducing the ReMadeSia vision in a fun and engaging way.
