The Warna-Warni Botani Festival Fabrikasi 2025 (WWB Festival Fabrikasi) concluded successfully at Taman Botani Shah Alam, filling the venue with colours, creativity, and community spirit. Over a hundred participants joined interactive workshops highlighting eco-printing, natural dye, and textile upcycling. The festival celebrated Malaysia’s growing movement toward sustainability while empowering artisans and craft lovers alike. This year’s WWB Festival Fabrikasi 2025 became even more meaningful through powerful collaborations. Supported by key government agencies such as: KPKT, Tourism Malaysia, and the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development and prominent partners such as EcoWorld and Dorsett Grand Subang, the festival bridged the gap between the creative industry, corporate sustainability, and community development. These partnerships showcased how upcycling and eco-conscious design can generate real environmental and social change, inspiring Malaysians to embrace sustainable living.
A Milestone Partnership with Taman Botani Shah Alam
A major highlight of the festival was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Taman Botani Shah Alam and Persatuan Seni Jahitan Kreatif Malaysia (PSJKM). The partnership aims to promote local agro-tourism while expanding the reach of sustainable fashion in Malaysia. Both parties will collaborate to advance eco-printing and natural dye techniques, encouraging more communities to value environmental protection through creative practice.
