As part of its rebranding transition, Premier Integrated Rehab (formerly Pantai Integrated Rehab Services Sdn Bhd) identified a significant volume of unused uniforms from its previous identity.

Instead of disposing these materials, the organisation took a forward-looking approach by transforming this operational challenge into an opportunity for impact.

Through a collaboration with PSJKM, the unused uniforms were repurposed into functional items, aligning environmental responsibility with social empowerment.

This initiative reflects Premier Integrated Rehab’s commitment to sustainability, demonstrating how corporate transitions can be managed responsibly while creating measurable environmental and social value.

Carlsberg Malaysia

As part of its event and campaign activities, Carlsberg Malaysia generated a volume of used promotional banners and textile materials.

These materials, typically made from composite plastic-based structures such as PVC tarpaulin, are not easily recyclable through conventional waste systems. As a result, most event banners are disposed of after single use and end up in landfills or incineration streams.

Recognising this challenge, Carlsberg Malaysia took a proactive step beyond conventional recycling by exploring an alternative solution.

Through a collaboration with PSJKM, these difficult-to-recycle materials were recovered and upcycled into functional products.

This initiative reflects a deeper level of sustainability commitment—addressing waste streams that are often overlooked, while reflects an effort to explore practical ways to address overlooked waste streams, by extending the life of materials through upcycling.
