MAHA 2026: Connecting Agriculture with Creative Possibilities

As part of MAHA 2026, PSJKM explores how agricultural waste can become valuable creative resources. Through the Agro-Tourism segment, we work with materials found directly within farming communities. For example, farmers can explore branches, leaves, flowers, and other plant materials for eco-print and natural dye. In this way, agricultural by-products can support new craft activities and visitor experiences. Therefore, MAHA 2026 gives us an opportunity to connect agriculture, creativity, and potential additional income.

From Farm Waste to Agro-Tourism Experiences

Meanwhile, PSJKM explores how farmers can extend the value of their existing resources. Instead of viewing every branch, leaf, or flower as waste, communities can explore creative applications. Through natural dye and eco-print, these materials can create unique colours, patterns, and handmade products. Moreover, these activities can become part of an agro-tourism experience. Visitors can learn about local materials while discovering creative craft techniques. As a result, farmers and communities can explore income opportunities beyond agricultural produce alone.

BERNAS: Exploring Opportunities Across the Rice Value Chain

At MAHA 2026, PSJKM also works with BERNAS around the paddy section. Through this collaboration, we explore different ways to give rice-related materials a second life. For example, jute rice bags and plastic rice bags can become potential upcycled products. Meanwhile, paddy straw can provide another source of material for natural dye exploration. Therefore, this initiative looks beyond the rice grain and considers opportunities across the wider rice value chain.

Connecting Agriculture with the Creative Economy

Ultimately, MAHA 2026 allows PSJKM to demonstrate how agriculture can connect with the creative economy. Through upcycling, natural dye, eco-print, and craft development, waste materials can become new resources. At the same time, these initiatives can support skills development, community participation, and new product possibilities. More importantly, they encourage us to ask a simple question: what value can we create from materials that we normally overlook?

Turning Opportunities into Community Impact

For organisations interested in supporting this journey, explore our Bulk Orders / Corporate Gifts for meaningful corporate occasions and campaigns. Meanwhile, individuals can explore Individual Gifts through Sewing World.

Furthermore, organisations can bring sustainability and community empowerment into their teams through PSJKM Workshops. Finally, companies and individuals can Join Us in Our Journey and help create more opportunities for communities.

Continuing the Journey Together

Finally, PSJKM believes that meaningful change grows through collaboration. Therefore, our involvement in MAHA 2026 demonstrates how agriculture, creativity, sustainability, and community empowerment can come together. As we continue this journey, PSJKM welcomes farmers, organisations, communities, and individuals to explore new possibilities with us.
