Treasure Hunt of Nature’s Colors: Warna-Warni Botanic Festival Fabrikasi 2025

The Treasure Hunt of Nature’s Colors at the Warna-Warni Botanic: Festival Fabrikasi 2025 brought excitement and learning to Taman Botani Negara, Shah Alam. Unlike ordinary treasure hunts, this unique experience required participants to search for local plants, making the activity both fun and educational.

A Treasure Hunt with a Twist

Participants started early in the morning, guided by rangers through five botanical spots. They explored the lush gardens and identified at least eight unique plants. Each plant held stories of natural dye and eco-printing, allowing participants to learn how nature contributes to creative crafts. This treasure hunt was not about speed but about discovery, observation, and appreciation.

Learning Through Exploration

The event encouraged every participant to use curiosity as their compass. Teams discovered plants like daun kopi arabia, daun resam, and bunga tanjung. They saw firsthand how these plants provide colors for natural dyeing and eco-printing. The joy on their faces showed how much they valued this hands-on experience. Many attendees shared that they learned more about Malaysia’s biodiversity in one morning than they had in years.

Celebration and Rewards

The excitement did not stop at learning. Participants competed for attractive prizes, including cash vouchers redeemable for craft products at the upcoming Warna-Warni Botani event. The winners were celebrated with warm applause:

  • 1st Prize: Roswidah Mat Lui

  • 2nd Prize: Chong Vee Hong

  • 3rd Prize: Noor Adibah bt Amir Shariffuddin

Each winner received recognition for their keen observation and teamwork, while all participants walked away with lasting knowledge and memorable experiences.

Voices of Joy

A highlight of the day was watching how happy the attendees felt. The video captured smiles, laughter, and words of appreciation. Participants expressed how great the session was, and many highlighted the value of learning directly from nature. It was a moment where education and joy walked hand in hand.
