Cross Cultural Carnival 2025 Celebrated Batik, Eco-Print, and Natural Dye

The Cross Cultural Carnival 2025 on 21 September 2025 at SJCK Kamunting gathered communities to celebrate the fusion of Batik, Eco-Print, and Ni Siap Mangrove Natural Dye. The event successfully showcased cultural artistry, environmental creativity, and the promise of sustainable fashion.

Hands-On Workshops That Inspired Many

Participants enjoyed engaging workshops such as Batik Painting, Pounding + Eco Print, Mangrove Natural Dye, and Titik by Titik Batik. Each session allowed attendees to work directly with fabric and natural elements. Many participants shared how these workshops encouraged personal expression and offered them a deeper appreciation of traditional textile techniques.

Event Highlights and Discoveries

The carnival sparked excitement by blending Mangrove Natural Dye, Batik, and Eco-Print into unique fabric creations. Visitors explored the question: can every plant create color? The answer unfolded as participants experimented and witnessed nature’s palette firsthand. Beyond the workshops, guests enjoyed lectures, handmade craft stalls, and textile exhibitions, making the event both educational and festive.

A Voice of Empowerment

A key highlight was the sharing by Dato Fully Chye, Chairperson of PSJKM. She shared her journey of empowerment and her commitment to sustainable fashion. Her words inspired participants to value creativity, resilience, and environmental care. For those who wish to continue supporting this mission, you can join us in our journey.
