Why Upcycling Matters

Fast fashion generates tons of textile waste every year, contributing to environmental pollution. Instead of throwing away old clothes, why not give them a second life? Upcycling is a simple yet powerful way to reduce waste and make green choices. By repurposing fabrics, you help lower landfill waste while creating something new and unique.

Our Green Sewing Workshop allows you to turn your old school uniforms, batik (sarong), or songket into a stylish tote bag. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced crafter, this workshop offers a fun and meaningful way to embrace sustainable living.

What Youโ€™ll Learn

This interactive session covers everything from fabric selection to stitching techniques. Our expert trainers will guide you step by step through the upcycling process. Youโ€™ll learn how to transform old fabrics into a functional custom food carrier that you can proudly use daily.

No prior sewing experience? No problem! This workshop is designed for beginners, so anyone can join. By the end of the session, youโ€™ll leave with a beautifully handmade tote bag, ready to be used or gifted to someone special.
